Tu Meri from Bang Bang! was
a Dadlani track (Vish)all the way – besides Sh(ekh)aring the composing credits
with Ravjiani, he penned and sang it. The song is the shortest of the four in
the film – just four minutes and seventeen seconds long.
The song was
tailor-made for the masses in general, and those who love to hit the dance
floor in particular.
The highlight of
the song (if you may call it that) was the hook that went, “Tu Tu Tu, Tu Meri ri ri”. Although it sounded pedestrian, it’s what
made the song hummable.
