Tuk Tuk, from Sultan, was
sung by the sisters, Jyoti (Noor)and Sultana. Vishal Dadlani, who Sh(ekh)ared
composing credits with Ravjiani, kept them company behind the microphone.
The track, which
was a blend of Sufi (a genre the siblings are adept at) and Hinglish rap, was penned
by Irshad Kamil, and was four minutes and twelve seconds long.
The highlight of
the song, undoubtedly, is the use of similes, such as chanchal (fickle), resham
(silk), malmal (muslin) and gehri daldal (deep quicksand), to
describe life, whose movement (forward) has been described using the phrase tuk tuk.
