When it comes to
songs about the girl next door (whom the protagonist has fallen in love with), it
wouldn’t be incorrect to say that Ajab
Leher Hai, from Break Ke Baad,
failed to achieve top-of-the-mind recall.
But by no means
was the track, which was composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani, ba(a)d.
It’s just that unlike many of the duo’s catchy numbers, it took a while to
grow on the listener.
Prasoon Joshi,
who penned the song, deserved kudos for keeping it simple. Neeraj, the
composers and Rhys D’Souza Sh(ridh)ared the singing credits.
